He said during an AMA on the social media website that he didn’t know the details of Anthropic’s contract, but if it had been the same with the one OpenAI had signed, he thought Anthropic should have agreed to it. Anthropic’s Claude chatbot rose to the top of Apple’s Top Free Apps leaderboard after OpenAI announced its Defense Department contract, beating out ChatGPT.
The battery life of the MacBook Air M5 remains the same as its predecessor. In my experience reviewing laptops, Apple has been killing it with its battery life scores (with the M4 lasting over 18 hours on Engadget’s battery test), so I wouldn’t be too shocked if its claims are accurate.
